The 3M Medium Cut Compound (Perfect-It III Fine Compound) is a mid-grade polishing paste intended as a second step after coarse compounding. It removes fine sanding marks, oxidation, and levels the surface, preparing it for final sheen with finer polishes or high gloss.

Designed to remove fine scratches (P1500–P2000) and level paint surfaces
Medium-cut polishing action with fast removal and clean finish
Produces a high-gloss shine as a second-step compound
Easy to wipe off with low sling, reducing mess
White paste consistency, pH ~7.5–8.5
