Description

Sikaflex®-292i is a 1-part thixotropic polyurethane adhesive that cures with atmospheric moisture. It has excellent bonding properties and good mechanical strengths.Sikaflex®-292i meets the limited flame spread requirements set by the International Maritime Organization (IMO).

Fields of application
Sikaflex®-292i is suitable for structural joints in the shipbuilding industry, which are subject to high dynamic stresses. It is suitable for bonding to metals, especially aluminium (including anodised), metal primers, 2-component paints, ceramic materials and plastics such as GRP (unsaturated polyester resin), ABS, etc.

The product is suitable for use by professional applicators. Tests should be conducted with actual substrates and prevailing application conditions to ensure adhesion quality and compatibility of the material.
