The 3M 1099 is a fast-drying, high-performance nitrile adhesive, ideal for bonding plastics, vinyl, rubber, and foams. It provides waterproof, flexible bonds with a 40-minute working time at room temperature .

Viscosity: 2 000–4 000 cP @ 27 °C
Open time: ~40 minutes
Durability: Resists water, oil, fuels, and plasticizer migration
Adhesion strength: ~29 N/cm (24 h), up to ~54 N/cm (2 wks)
Operating temperatures: –34 °C to +82 °C
Heat curing: optional heat activation boosts strength (e.g. 160 °C for 8 mins)
