Description
The field of application of the electric motor bracket is optimal for boats, especially kayaks or paddle boats, which are equipped with a rudder. The foldable bracket is attached to the axis of the rudder and the electric motor is positioned behind the rudder. Initially, this solution was tested with the widely used control system from Prijon, you can adapt other control systems of similar construction relatively quickly and easily. The manufacturer of the bracket plans further developments for further requirements in the boat area.
The Okayak bracket offers the solution to quickly attach the electric motor to the control system with a folding mechanism and, if necessary, to fold the motor up with a line while driving. The Vaquita itself can be attached to the bracket using the supplied fin adapter.
In the raised position, the rope can be fixed with the control system's clamping device so that the motor is out of the water. In an extended retracted position of the motor bracket, the motor can remain without a rope fixation (transport / parking position). The boat is not damaged by drilling holes, except that an extended screw axis is screwed into the rudder mount once.
