Designed to quickly penetrate all types of seabed, its unique geometry allows it to quickly orient itself regardless of how it drops to the bottom. It combines a pointed tip, a hoop and paddles to dig straight and penetrate quickly, usually within one meter, regardless of bottom, even in kelp.
The Rocna's folded wing geometry resists wind and current change and does not easily unhook when reversing the load, instead, it tends to rotate to get into the right position for bottom penetration. Unlike other anchors, no additional lead or cast iron weights are used at the tip. Instead, weight is effectively distributed throughout the design for greater strength and increased blade surface area, resulting in optimal holding power.
