Description
The improved successor to the ROCNA anchor: The Vulcan anchor is highly compatible and has a rock solid anchoring strength.
New solutions to familiar challenges
The anchor features a unique combination of shank and fluke geometry - including the innovative Roll-Palm™ at the rear of the fluke, which self-rights the anchor on the seabed without the use of a roll-bar. This is assisted by the V-Bulb™ which extends fluke ballast downward to gain maximum leverage and efficiency.
Suitable for all vessels and their operators
The omission of a roll-bar along with a carefully designed shank profile ensures a snug fit on just about any vessel. This makes it easier to manoeuvre in areas with bathing platforms, bowsprits, booms, stays and other protusions and minimises potential obstructions.
Smooth bow interaction and compatibility
The Vulcan’s shank shape encourages self-launching and self-stowing upon retrieval on the majority of bow rollers, with a liquid smooth action, ensuring ease of use for all operators.
Strength comes from design
Working with high tensile steel, the shank is further strengthened by the patented I+V profile™ design. This computer optimised I-beam geometry brings higher resistance to bending, and further improves setting performance as the lower V-edge cuts into the seabed. This helps the anchor penetrate more easily to a deep and secure burial.
