Description

Add fillers to thicken the expoxy to the desired consistency for a specific job. Unmodified resin / hardener has the consistency of syrup and runs off vertical surfaces (suitable for coating and wettting out porous surfaces). By adding filler, a "thicker" consistency can be achieved (suitable for filling cavities, fillets, making large, uneven bondings and for use as a filler). Microfibres 403 is especially suitable for laminating.

Mixing ratios and consistencies (amount of filler as a weight percentage to be added to the mixed epoxy):
Slightly thickened : 3%
Medium thickened : 5%
Maximum thickened : 8%

Uses
Surface coating, pre-soaking before bonding, application of glass fibre, carbon fibre and other fabrics.
Laminating, bonding large panels with large surfaces, injecting with syringe.
Bonding, filler fillets, bonding of fittings.
Filling holes, filling grooves, bonding uneven surfaces.
